About the Author:

I am headed next year to the College of Mathematical Biology in my hometown at the University of Houston. Since I was five years old, I have wanted to be a cardiac surgeon and I have worked within my capacity to learn and study towards this goal. I am a published author and illustrator of 2 children’s books. “All that you can be, My Girl” (Amazon), That encourages young girls to pursue careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. “The Little Girl with ADHD” (Amazon). That works to build kindness and empathy in elementary schools towards girls with disabilities. I have a passion for service work and recently received the President’s Volunteer Service Award-Gold from the U.S. President, as well as the Girl Scout Gold Award. I enjoy horseback riding, reading, and preparing unique and healthy foods.
